Advanced capabilities#
Side probing. Access edge connectors and board I/O — USB 3.0/3.1, RJ45, DC Jack, USB 2.0 Type B. Exercise board interfaces during test without manual cable insertion. Essential for functional test plans that need to verify I/O alongside probe-based measurements.
High voltage protection. Boards with voltages above 60V or currents above 2A require proper isolation between the operator and DUT. Safety interlocks and shielding protect operators during high-voltage testing sequences.
RF shielding. For PCBAs with wireless radios, RF front ends, or high-frequency signal paths. Shielded fixture enclosures maintain signal integrity during test, preventing ambient interference from causing false failures on your production line.
Safety interlocks. Lid switches prevent open-fixture actuation. Cycle counters track fixture usage for maintenance scheduling and production reporting. When fixtures run multiple shifts, these features keep operations predictable.
