Pricing
Configure your fixture in Studio and get instant pricing. No quote requests, no back-and-forth emails, no waiting days for a number.
How Pricing Works
Traditional fixture vendors require you to submit designs, wait for engineering review, and then receive a quote days or weeks later. We built a different approach.
FixturFab Studio calculates pricing in real-time as you configure your fixture. Upload your design files, select your options, and see the price update instantly. When you're ready, purchase directly through the platform—no sales calls required.
This approach works because we've standardized the engineering decisions that traditionally require custom quoting. Our platform handles the complexity so you get predictable pricing without the wait.
What Affects Fixture Price
Four primary factors determine your fixture cost
Dev, Dev Pro, and Production fixtures have different base prices reflecting build quality and durability requirements.
Larger PCBAs require larger fixture bases, more material, and more manufacturing time.
More test points means more probes, receptacles, and drilling—each adds to fixture cost.
Standard spring probes, high-current contacts, RF interfaces, and specialty probes have different costs.
Fixture Tiers
Dev Fixtures
Optimized for prototype and early development. Lower cost, faster delivery, designed for lower cycle counts. Ideal when you're iterating on designs and need quick fixture turnaround.

Enhanced durability for pre-production and pilot runs. Built for higher cycle counts while maintaining reasonable cost. Good for design validation and early production runs.
Learn about Dev Pro fixtures →Production Fixtures
Built for high-volume manufacturing. Maximum durability, precision alignment, and long service life. Designed to maintain consistent contact quality across thousands of test cycles.
Learn about Production fixtures →Replica Pricing
Need multiple fixtures for the same board design? Replica orders—additional fixtures using an existing design—are priced lower than the original since engineering work is already complete.
This makes it economical to deploy fixtures across multiple test stations, CM sites, or geographic locations. Roughly two-thirds of our revenue comes from repeat customers ordering replicas and fixtures for new board revisions.
