Fixture Cartridges

Replaceable test fixture cartridges for rapid fixture updates. Development and Ingun ATS cartridge options with cycle life ratings.

Replaceable cartridges enable rapid fixture updates for different devices or allow a single fixture base to test multiple product variants. When a DUT design changes or probes wear out, the cartridge can be swapped while the base remains in service.

G10 cartridges provide enhanced durability with 10x the cycle rating of MDF alternatives. Consider G10 when expected test volumes will exceed 1,000 cycles or when fixture longevity is important.

Ingun ATS Cartridges#

Ingun cartridges support production-grade fixtures with multiple specialized variants:

Standard Cartridges#

Available for MA360, MA11, MA12, MA13, and larger frame sizes. Standard cartridges support both top and side probing with 60mm pressure pins.

ESD Variants#

Cartridges with dissipative coatings for testing electrostatic-sensitive components. ESD cartridges prevent static discharge damage during the test cycle.

RF-Shielded Variants#

For radio frequency applications, RF-shielded cartridges provide shielding attenuation greater than 60dB in the frequency range up to 6GHz. Essential for testing wireless modules, RF circuits, and devices requiring electromagnetic isolation during test.

Cartridge Selection#

When selecting cartridges:

  1. Match to fixture base — Cartridges are specific to fixture models
  2. Consider cycle life — G10 for high-volume, MDF for prototyping
  3. Evaluate special requirements — ESD protection or RF shielding as needed
  4. Plan for spares — Keep replacement cartridges available for quick changeover
